Lodestones were the original “compass stones” used for navigation. They are made of magnetite that has been polarized after having been struck by lightning

in military compasses
Today lodestones are used as gemstones that symbolize a balance between yin and yang, intellect and emotions


We are using the lodestone as a symbol for:

  • Helping to set and keep to a direction
  • Navigating the unfamiliar
  • Achieve a balance between objectives
