Marc, Swiss, Managing Consultant

I have been working in Business Consulting for leading Management Consulting Firms for more than 5 years.

My previous project was located in London where we where implementing six business units on a global template SAP system for a major Reinsurance Company. My responsibility was the implementation of asset accounting, controlling and reporting.

Currently I am responsible for the implementation of asset accounting and controlling of the headquarter as well as for accounts payables, accounts receivables and General Ledger in a Swiss subsidiary of a global Reinsurance Company in Germany.

To ensure the tacit knowledge is made explicit and spread amongst the whole project team worldwide is one of my major challenges.

To add value to the client and to fully satisfy and exceed the expectations wherever possible is my aim working at Lodestone.

Have a direct impact on the success of the company and benefit, whilst participating in the growth of the company differentiates Lodestone from other Consultancies.

Thomas, Swiss & Austrian, Director

I am working in Business Consulting since 9 years, mainly in the insurance and banking sector. I joined Price Waterhouse beginning of 1998 which then became PricewaterhouseCoopers and later was acquired by IBM and became IBM Business Consulting Services. Prior to this I have worked as Project and Team leader as well as Business Analyst with international companies in the financial and electro-technical sector.

In my prior project I was leading several teams for business analysis and development of the ERP based solution at an international insurance group, where analysis, design and implementation of a global SAP Template was the project scope.

Currently my position is the lead of individual teams responsible for delivery, processes and implementation to set up a Shared Service Center for Accounting, Controlling and Reporting for several Central Eastern European companies of a global financial services group. This includes the definition of processes, organization and reporting structures as well as the implementation of SAP modules and an integration platform.

All projects finished with full client satisfaction, on time and within budget – which is quite an achievement compared to worldwide project lifecycle statistics.

My major challenge from the project perspective is the lead of people of various nationalities, countries and backgrounds towards common goals and visions. In perspective to Lodestone it is to help strengthening Lodestone’s reputation as the leading ERP enabled business transformation provider as well as to keep and maintain the Lodestone spirit during times of successful growth.

Work in a true professional consulting environment where you

And have a direct impact on the success of the company and benefit financially, whilst participating in the growth of the company is why I am working for Lodestone.

Paula, Portuguese, Senior Consultant

My professional career started 6 years ago as a SAP FI/CO consultant.

I have been on a Pharma ACT project – accounting for clinical trials before I started with the Intercompany Reconciliation project.

Adding value to the client with my knowledge I have gained during the last 6 years as well as establishing a smooth atmosphere within the team to get the fulfilment of the defined goals are my main achievements in these projects.

My major challenge is always ensuring the success of my current project.

I am aiming to enlage my technical SAP knowledge and complement it with soft skills improvements.

I like being part of Lodestone. Working in a true professional consulting environment where I can take responsibility, being accountable, deliver value to clients, being recognized and rewarded for the value I add and being coached to become a better consultant.

Ola, Swedish, Managing Consultant

I am Ola, working as a consultant with Lodestone Management Consultants.

I have been with Kraft Foods International and the Swedish Arctic Special Forces before founding my own Internet Consulting company.

My previous project was in the consumer industry were I had the responsibility of managing sales and distribution process changes including roll outs in 17 European countries.

Currently my position is the commercial operations team lead in the global business process template design for a  pharmaceutical company, were roll outs to 26 countries is planned.

Starting, and running, my own company at the age of 23 was one of my greatest achievements.

Delivering a process solution in sales and distribution within the food industry, which enabled the merger of two companies resulting in important cost savings and profitability increase, without any negative impact on sales volume, was another achievement in my professional life. Not to forget my 7th place overall in the Swedish Telemark ski championships.

My future challenge is making sure the processes we design generate real business benefits for all the countries in my current project. Fancy PowerPoint slides is one thing, but truly understanding the processes and systems of the client, and based on these, deliver functioning solutions - is a different story.

To deliver quality solutions while simultaneously making sure the team has fun along the way is what my aim is at Lodestone. Help to drive innovation in what we offer to clients and how we deliver it, is what differentiates Lodestone from other Consultancies.

I am working in Business Consulting since 11 years. Prior to this I have worked as a Financial Analyst, Finance & Administration Manager and Controller in international companies in Germany and France. I have been working in projects at Gillette, General Motors and Nestle.
My current project is with Nestle Waters. Gaining the acceptance and trust of all my client counterparts so far in my knowledge and expertise is my greatest achievement. I had a major challenge when I started in Business Consulting I had no knowledge about SAP.

Since then I have gained a fair understanding of SAP which enables me to successfully support major SAP projects. Working at Lodestone Management Consultants supports my professional goals: continuing to work on international complex assignments and work in a true professional consulting environment where you

Henrik, German, Managing Consultant

My professional career in business consulting started 2001. My first project was about reengineering all administrative processes in an SAP implementation in the Air industry. In various Industry Projects I gained knowledge in SAP Implementation and Optimization. My greatest achievements were the successful SAP Implementation for the Nordic countries and the SCM Data Management Project, both as Domain Lead for up to 20 people. One of my major challenge was to manage the coordination of 4 3rd party warehouse providers during an international cross country implementation.

My aims are really:

Piotr, Polish, Managing Consultant

My professional career in business consulting started in 1998. Currently, I am working as a Managing Consultant with Lodestone Management Consultants in Poland. Prior to this, I have worked as a Logistic Consultant with debis IT Services and as a Project Manager with T-Systems Poland. I have been involved in over 20 SAP projects worldwide. Practical experience gained in realized projects on various levels of management - such as consultant, project manager, and Steering Committee member - gave me the knowledge to manage a variety of problems accruing with the levels of the projects.

Working many years as a team/project leader with responsibility for a large group of consultants and realizing projects with an international team gave me the basis of my managerial experience. I have achieved my success by thinking that each project is to be treated as a challenge and unique task worth of total dedication. Last year I decided to join Lodestone. This year I decided to take part in the Berlin Marathon. Both decisions have been taken for the same reasons:

Stephen, Canadian, Managing Consultant

My consulting career started in 1999. Since then I have worked in both public and privately held companies in Canada, the US and Europe and have focused mainly on manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries. My areas of expertise are financials and project management. I am currently working on a project in Canada for an integrated Oil and Gas company. Over the past two years my projects have included global roll-out implementations for an Asset Management company in California and a Pharmaceutical company in Switzerland and the US.

Since joining Lodestone in 2006 my career has been fast-tracked with quality opportunities in top-tier multinationals and business development opportunities at home in Canada. Lodestone is built upon the principle of hiring the best people and providing the best opportunities within a highly professional environment. At Lodestone I am able to achieve my goals of providing unbiased professional advice while simultaneously developing my own knowledge and career.

Ashwini, Indian, Consultant

I have been a SAP FICO consultant with Lodestone Singapore for 1.5 years. Prior to my SAP career, I worked as an Accountant (Finance and MIS) for a period of 3 years. Later, I worked as a Software Engineer in Oracle for 3.5 year and was involved in the development and implementation of ERP suite for small and medium scale enterprises.

With more than 5 years of SAP consulting experience to date, I have been responsible for managing FI/Co process and changes including roll outs in 15 Asia Pacific Countries. My current project is with DHL Express Worldwide (Asia-Pacific Rollout) based in Singapore. This has been and still is a very challenging assignment; having to gain trust and confidence among diverse users with the Hong Kong, India, Japan and China Go-live. The pressure to achieve optimum quality results within time constraint has greatly enriched my learning experiences and earned me three appreciation and excellent performance awards from the client.

I want to move forward with my career and work in a large and challenging consultancy – and Lodestone felt like the right choice. Of the consulting companies I have worked in, Lodestone is the most structured in its approach and uses the best people. Learning opportunities, people, and career progression have always been key in my career choice and I am glad that I have found all that in Lodestone.

Marcin, Polish, Managing Consultant

For the last 9 years I have been in SAP Consulting projects in different sectors. I joined IMG in 1999 as a junior consultant and left as a consulting manager. During that time I had the possibility to build my financial, controlling as well as project management skills. Prior to that, I was a financial analyst at Tesco Headquarters for Eastern & Central Europe.

During my previous project I was an expert consultant in the area of controlling. We were implementing SAP solutions (ECC) for one of the biggest producers in the chemical industry. This month this company will be quoted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange Market and I hope that the success of that project swill be reflected in the stock price.

Currently, I have just joined the SHAPE project for Sandoz, where I am responsible for the Finance Area (Team Lead Finance) in the Polish Roll-out.

My greatest achievements so far include: delivering value on projects, building relations with my clients, ability to say “no” if necessary and last but not least “having fun” in complex and demanding consulting world.

I like being part of Lodestone, I would like to take part in the growth of a young, international, healthy and professional consulting firm. In future, I would like to work together with people who share similar values.
