Lodestone opens subsidiary in Brazil

Swiss consulting firm Lodestone Management Consultants continues its international expansion: After having opened an office in the Netherlands in July, Lodestone has now established a subsidiary in São Paulo to accommodate the increasing need for strategy and process optimization and IT transformation in the South American market. Founded in 2005, the company is an international success having grown to more than 700 staff and presence in 17 countries in only six years. In 2010, the company´s gross results were around €158 million.

Lodestone Management Consultants, which services a significant number of international companies, is now also represented in Brazil – the firm’s seventeenth location in six years. “As part of our continuous expansion, we are pleased that Lodestone Management Consultants are now present in Brazil”, said Ronald Hafner, CEO and co-founder of Lodestone. “This will allow thus to even better tailor our services and advice to clients headquartered in South America which we consider an important market and a further key pillar of our global growth strategy.”

With Frank Dorr and Claudio Elsas two well experienced and established consultants with outstanding expertise in SAP solutions, combined with extensive knowledge of the local market and excellent client relationships have joined Lodestone as local partners.

Frank Dorr is German and has more than 15 years international SAP Consulting experience, predominately focusing on Oil & Gas Business, Global Template Projects and Global System Architecture & Design. He comes from CPM Braxis S.A. where he established the international SAP Premium Consulting Practice. Prior to working for CPM Braxis. Frank Dorr was at SAP HQ Co-Head and Strategy Manager of the Global Practice Unit Oil & Gas and took customer responsibility for ExxonMobil. As Global Client Director, he was responsible for the STRIPES Program and deployed SAP’s industry specific consulting strategy.

Claudio Elsas is Brazilian and owns more than 15 years of Latin-American SAP consulting and entrepreneurial experience. He comes from Value Team, where he built the SAP practice and acted as Vice-President for the Brazilian SAP business. Before, he led as shareholder and Director the CPM Braxis ERP Delivery Organization. As former entrepreneur and SAP Service partner, Claudio Elsas helped SAP to develop the Brazilian SAP consulting market by delivering services to large-scale customers.
