Lodestone expands in Eastern Europe
Lodestone Management Consultants AG – a globally active provider of consulting services in the business transformation segment - has established two subsidiaries in Romania and the Czech Republic. Lodestone has already opened a subsidiary in Poland in 2007. With the founding of these two subsidiaries, the company is consolidating its position in the growth markets in Central and Eastern Europe.The success of Lodestone, a rapidly expanding organisation with subsidiaries in thirteen countries founded as recently as 2005 and today employing over 400 consultants worldwide, is based on important mandates from leading Swiss and European groups.
Ronald Hafner, Lodestone CEO and partner, attributes the growth in the Zurich-based management consulting firm to the needs of globally active companies to achieve a substantial increase in performance throughout the value creation chain. This often involves a major simplification of the underlying IT applications, especially SAP. The new subsidiaries will enable Lodestone to offer even better support to both global and local companies in the region and will also serve their parent company in Switzerland as nearshore development centres.
Management of the subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Romania will be the responsibility of Peter Fischer. In Romania, Cristin Florescu will serve as the local Managing Director.
