Lodestone promotes innovation prize of the German economy

The high levels of investment by German companies in research and innovation are showing their worth – and that, despite the recent crisis: In EU comparison, Germany shares with Finland the number two spot, just behind the leaders Sweden. This is shown by the findings of a survey on the innovation of EU countries published last year by the "European Innovation Scoreboard".

"Innovation is the engine of our economy, the driving force for growth and employment. Here, Germany has a huge potential for innovation. The consulting industry in particular contributes significantly to the initiation of innovation culture and processes in the economy," said Norbert Kettner, Managing Partner of Lodestone Management Consultants Germany. Once again this year, more than 2,000 guests from business, politics and the arts accepted the invitation to the 30th gala on the occasion of the award ceremony of the innovation prize of the German economy. This was presented to the winners on 19 February 2011 within the festivities of the gala evening by Federal Minister Dr. Annette Schavan as patron. More than 320 companies applied in 2010 for this award, which has been awarded annually since 1980 to outstanding technical, scientific and intellectual achievements.
