Lodestone receives an Asco Award once again
At the beginning of June 2011 ASCO , the Association of Management Consultants in Switzerland, again presented awards to outstanding projects characterised by optimum, sustainable business transformations. Lodestone was singled out for “Excellent Business Transformation 2011”, once again receiving an award and taking second place in the overall ranking out of a total of eleven participants with its project for F. Hoffmann-La Roche. The content of the highly complex project for the pharmaceuticals division was the development of a completely new business model for Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. Taking standardised technology as the basis, between May 2008 and the end of September 2010 all the business processes for sales, distribution, logistics and finances were harmonised, optimised and reorganised in 22 countries and at five production sites.
In order to improve transparency and efficiency and increase the satisfaction of the regulatory authorities, a subproject set up a shared service centre for finance and accounting in Budapest. The new business model also includes a regional business warehouse which meets all local, regional and global requirements with its standardised reports.
