Lodestone Management Consultants appoint Susan Schier to their new Communications Manager. She will be responsible for the development and implementation of an international concept for Lodestone’s entire external and internal communications. 

Lodestone Management Consultants have won the reputable ASCO award 2010 in the category “Best Business Transformation”. The jury, representing major players in business and education, decided for the joint project of Lodestone and pharmaceutical company F. Hoffmann – La Roche as the winners of the award 2010. Every year, ASCO, Association of Management Consultants Switzerland, call for tenders to award projects that document a sustainable business transformation with an exceptional relationship between client and consultant companies. In the 2-year project the team, led by Geert Crauwels und Frank Leinenbach, introduced and implemented a distribution network as well as new software systems for production, inventory management and supply planning. The overall objective was a standardized process and system landscape in Hoffmann-La Roche’s R&D department in order to facilitate more efficient work procedures. Lodestone’s project succeeded over eight competitors. The members of the jury, among them Audi, Credit Suisse, SAP Switzerland and Zurich Switzerland, made their decision upon fixed criteria. Lodestone speaks at Medical Faculty of the University of Basel about Innovation in Clinical Trials Supply Management on June 28 to 30, 2010. The European Center of Pharmaceutical Medicine ECPM is an university institute at the Medical Faculty of the University of Basel.
