Solution Architect - Portals Senior Consultant

We are currently looking for experienced SAP Solution architects in Portals capable of playing a key role in helping to grow and expand the team. Roles and opportunities will vary according to position, but will involve being part of a multinational project team, based on client sites implementing SAP solutions for our national and international clients.

Typical activities include the design of Portal solutions using components of SAP NetWeaver as a Solution Architect. Design the underlying hardware configuration and infrastructure for Portal implementations. Advise our Clients on how portal technologies and strategies can be translated to real competitive advantages.

As a consultant, this is a great opportunity to work with a growing consultancy, with top tier clients, developing your implementation skills. For more senior candidates, you will be responsible for leading teams or sub-projects.

Travel is required.

Individuals should typically have 5 to 10 years technical experience in a multi-site global SAP environment, They have completed at least 2 full lifecycle SAP Portal implementation projects for major global organizations. Strong Basis, ABAP or Java J2EE background, experience with Wed Dynpro, ESS/MSS, XI or MDM would be beneficial. Sound knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Stack, ABAP, HTML, XML and understanding of BSPs, ITS and PKI as well as experience in Visual composer tool is required.

Personal characteristics should include an excellent client focus, drive to achieve, ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels within the company and client organisation.

A university degree or equivalent qualification is required in a related discipline.

An excellent command of English (written and spoken) is required. Other Languages are an added benefit.
