Senior/Managing Consultants IT Service

Management (ITSM)
We intend to grow our IT Service Management team in 2008. We want to hire IT Service Management experts at the Managing Consultant and Senior Consultant level who have a solid IT Service experience and the consulting skill to help us grow our team in this strategic space.

Your task:
As a Senior/Managing Consultant in the area of IT Service Management (ITSM) you will be working on core topics of IT service organizations for Lodestone clients. Typical project assignments are:

• Performance of audits and maturity assessments to identify areas for service improvement, cost reduction or compliance risks
• Analysis and design of IT service management transformations for multi-site and complex organizations according to ITIL best-practices
• Design and implementation of global IT service functions (e.g. SAP Competence Center)
• Provide advice on a strategic level to clients on aspects of international IT sourcing models (offshoring/nearshoring)

As part of a client focused consulting company, you will have direct and immediate client contact either as part of a consulting team or as an acknowledged expert. You will be working internationally for multinational companies. You will dedicate part of your time for conceptual improvement of our methods, tools and consulting offerings for implementing ITSM solutions. Depending on your level of experience you will also support pre-sales and sales activities.


Your profile:

You will have a background in two or more of the following areas:
- Substantial operational experience in a structured IT service or service management type role
- Exposure to operational process design and improvement according to ITIL v2 and v3
- Experience in IT organization design including ERP Competence Center design and implementation
- Experience with IT outsourcing/vendor management and IT off-shoring
- Experience with the design and implementation of IT service management platforms e.g.
   BMC Remedy ITSM, HP OpenView Service Desk or SAP

• You should hold an ITIL Managers Certificate. Further knowledge or certifications to corresponding standards such as ISO20000 or COBIT would be advantageous
• You have mastered your university degree or equivalent qualification with great success
• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills
• You are committed, creative and are able to work independently as well as in a team
• You are comfortable working in large, multinational environments and you are receptive to client needs
• You can inspire and convince others; you naturally build long term relationships based on trust and expertise
• You are fluent in English have a convincing and efficient communication style
